BIOGRAPHY
McDonald was born in New York, the son of Patricia, a real estate agent, and James McDonald, an educator. he graduated from Romulus, New York and graduated from Hobart College Geneva, where he was an active member of Kappa Alpha Society. He is married to Lupe Gidley, with whom he had four children: Jackson Riley (1990), Hannah Elizabeth (1993), Rosie (1996) and Ava Catherine (2001). He has five brothers to which must be added actor Daniel McDonald (1960 – February 15, 2007), who died of brain cancer on Christopher’s fifty-second birthday. He is a Buffalo Bills fan and marched with Geneva Apple knockers Jr. Drum and Bugle Corps in the late sixties.
CAREER
Christopher McDonald has made several investments in film and television shows, often as a supporting player. Among the many movies in which he has starred mention Thelma Louise , The Grinch , Show Quiz , Flubber – A Professor in the Clouds , The College , The Perfect Storm , House Arrest , Dirty Work , American Pie: The Naked Mile , American Pie: Beta House , Broken Flowers and Spy Kids 2 – The Island of Lost Dreams . He also starred as Ward Cleaver in the film Leave It to Beaver and those of the famous baseball sports commentator Mel Allen in the TV movie 61* . in 1994 He had the lead role in the movie Terminal Velocity . She also recently replaced Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg in Scare Me – The Duke to the Rescue.
in television as well as recurring roles in the television series Family Law , North Shore and Veronica Closet , He participated as a guest star in Cin Cin , Countercurrent , Supercar , The Sopranos , Psych , Home Improvement , Las Vegas and Star Trek: The Next Generation . He also appeared in three television films of the film Before Midnight ( Midnight Run ) replacing Robert De Niro Jack Walsh: Another Midnight Run ,Midnight Runaround and Midnight Run for Your Life . He recently starred as famed baseball player Joe DiMaggio on ESPN ‘s original series The Bronx Is Burning .
He also had voice acting experience, for example, in the animated film The Iron Giant lending his voice to government agent Kent Mansley. He also voiced Superman’s father Jor-El in the animated series The Adventures of Superman and consequently an elder superman in the two-part episode the serial call Batman Beyond . With these renditions, he found great affection for these characters, saying he was very happy because he was (and still is) a fan of Superman and why these roles were certainly unlike the ones he is famous for.
